Finnaly got some updated firmware installed on my new to me Powerconnect6224. It was a pain. I found a usb serial device that could not communicate back to the switch which was 3 days of frustration. Also sending 9.6MB over a 9600 baud connection using Xmodem was painful. All this work and the darn thing is going to be switched to unmanaged mode anyways xD Now to get some Fiber gear. Got an 88ft run to do.
