@reb@retro.social I think I'm complaining about Java script, but I'm not sure. I just know that twenty years ago when a page loaded a search bar was a search bar when you saw it but now they often are not a search bar until you click on it and it loads the search bar. This messes me up because i do not wait for it to load and now my mental state is out of sync with the computer @djsundog@fedi.reclaim.technology

@RnDanger@infosec.exchange @djsundog@fedi.reclaim.technology I think I see what you mean now (though, still unsure what it's got to do with tables, but that's ok!) though that particular aspect doesn't bother me all that much, because I grew up with computers that were already a decade old by the time I had them my muscle memory for using computers has a built in "wait for ready" loop between my inputs The version of the KDE file picker on my work computer has an annoying bug where where if you click to edit the name of the file you're saving, it actually brings the search box into focus instead. It really pissed me off the first couple of times, but now it'd actually throw me off more if it *didn't* do it :D
