@secretsloth@mastodon.art yeah, that's it. It's basically a bunch of shifting inflammatory conditions and varying immunoresponses, sometimes manifesting as lupus or partial organ failures, and docs respond to the condition like we're unfit or drunk, and never manage the inflammation. We have been metabolically damaged. They won't acknowledge it, they responds as they would to geriatrics, and it's not helping they don't understand mcas. They can't get their head around it from a therapeutic view.

@secretsloth@mastodon.art My opinion at this point is that it's literally as intellectually beyond them as it would be for a basic dog and cat rescuer to be good at exotics rescue. I could do it because I'd kind of prepared myself since childhood, my knowledge base was enormous, a completely different neural network, a different personality. they're basically dealing with breeds of two species and I was dealing with four thousand species. The gulf is immense. They're not trained for it.

@secretsloth@mastodon.art Honestly, it's like asking a milkman to make you a range of two dozen single malts and I'm tired of it. They'll deny you inhalers and antihistamines, and put you on statins instead. It's ludicrous. In fact it's lethal. Sure, we seem like we're aging prematurely, but they treat that like we've aged, rather than deal with the metabolic disruption, and that reminds me how primitive most GPs and medical training is. Five years and still no clue.
