if we want legal open source stuff, enforced by licenses, I want to be able to successfully sue corporations
(without bleeding myself financially to death)

@meena@cathode.church True, but you give away the rights with a promise from the third party to give away. Suing is expensive, getting paid up front is more efficient. And suing gets the lawyers rich and leaves nothing for the developers/maintainers. Pretty much all the experience to date suggests it doesn't work to operate in that mode.
