@richardinsandy@c.im I used allopurinol daily for 30 years. I only stopped because my doctor put me on medication for some other issues, which then gave me problems, so dropped all meds, added them back one at a time to see which was the source. It wasn't the allopurinol. Colchicine was useful during an attack, but the doctors were withholding of it for no explained reason. Oddly, haven't had an episode in about two years, with no lifestyle changes, other than less beer (very triggering).
