I've been leaving out some food for the magpies that visit, and today, when I went to check the bowl, found *somebody* had added some berries. Are they for me? (Not gonna try, but, thanks, Mags.)

@omarzeyada18 He's not great at sharing, but there were two after I took this photo, so maybe a girlfriend. I haven't learned to distinguish who's who yet, but get visits from sunup to sundown. They have a lovely fluting song. Next time, I'll try to get a video with sound up.

Holiday's last day @kimsbeachsideretreat. Couldn't have been more relaxing, welcoming, and much-needed, even when the weather didn't fully cooperate. #kimsbeachsideretreat has super accommodations and great food, and everyone is friendly and helpful. (Even supplied an umbrella for the torrents of rain we experienced today. So thoughtful and thorough.) Well-recharged for my return to a toxic work project next week, and the fights to come.

A plea for help from Gaza https://chuffed.org/project/164090-help-omar-and-his-family He's a good kid, trying to help his family. If you've got the room in your budget, help what you can. The war hasn't stopped.
