@brian@hoosier.social Thank you for that. I must admit that I am neglectful as a parent. My son is 2 years into a CS degree and I had not shown it to him yet. That has now been rectified.

The Rockwell one is a remake of an old GMC outtake reel, the Turbo Encabulator: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ac7G7xOG2Ag Which itself, is derivative of an original 1944 piece that takes the piss out of technobabble. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turbo_encabulator The whole subreddit /r/vxjunkies takes the joke to its natural extreme where people are posting nonsensical machinery and talking about cardinal granmeters.
