@mntmn@mastodon.social If you ever do a RISCV machine powerful enough for serious use, I might go over that budget, but even then I have a hard budget cap around 1k and only have openings for such a large acquisition at most twice a year, when I get an extra salary.

@mntmn@mastodon.social Maybe let's evaluate a completely different route. I see the mainboard of the Reform is available for 350€ – can it run in isolation with external IO and power? Like, I can deal with not having integrated display, mouse, keyboard and battery for a while if I can add them later on. // @seindal@mastodon.uno
