Does anyone know of a translation tool less liable to obliterate the author's voice than DeepL? If I do an English to Spanish and then a Spanish to English translation, I start with: "What are your reasons for learning Spanish?" I end up with: "Why do you want to learn Spanish?" This is too much meddling with what I wrote. This is just an example I have ready. I can get much worse. I don't have money to spend on this. Suggesting paying services is a waste of both our times. I'm also trying to stay away from GAFAM solutions. #DeepL #FediAsk #translation
