@mondstern the obvious for starters are Libre Office, Gimp and Inkscape if you need vector graphics beyond Libre Office capabilities. Free CAD if you design in 3D. Krita for a different take on graphics. Gnu Cash if you need to keep track of expenses and invoice people. Firefox or a Firefox based spin off browser eg Zen, Ice Wolf. Free Tube for YouTube without ads or tracking though Google keeps changing the API to break it.
