@emmy@transfem.social @Athena@chaosfem.tw I can recommend taking a look at meow, it works with all the standard keymaps but gives a different way of interacting with them without having to use ctrl https://github.com/meow-edit/meow/blob/master/TUTORIAL.org#keypad they keypad mode makes it so doing C-x C-f is just SPC x f, or C-x d would become SPC x SPC d since it just translates these inputs to the normal key combos it doesn't require rebinding stuff overall it's the most interesting modal/different editing scheme for emacs I've found, I don't currently use it but I am planning on moving to it https://github.com/meow-edit/meow
