Latest in only gen x on team drama. I'm being told that "instant messaging" is asynchronous and that they don't expect instant reply. But if you don't want instant reply send an email. The look I got from the whole team when I said "am I just being painfully gen x about this" was withering. Even over zoom. They even explicitly gave me permission to not reply immediately.
