@leiawelsh@toot.wales great post, and yeah, that's why so many of us are here - this is basically what the internet should've become, without all the ads, money and algorithms- it's so great to be here and see so much of the old style web still exists, in pockets that are more and more discoverable. Been working on a blog post about it myself 😀

@jake4480@c.im We’re sort of reinventing and re-solving the discoverability problem aren’t we? Upon a time it was hard to find things because the search engine hadn’t been invented yet and we were relying on curated lists and people actively submitting to directories - and now search is enshittified and we’re back to wanting lists! #indieweb #smallweb
