This morning, I spied a gorgeous cardinal perched on a low pruned branch of a bush in front of my apartment laundry room. I spotted him through the window and didn't want to open the door but upon finally exiting, he flew up onto a high perch on the roof, master of all he surveyed. Beside my car, I spotted a tall stalk shooting up through a hardy saw palm. I didn't know if it was an invasive weed, but Google helped me figure out the little white flowers belonged to this hardy plant. #spring
