As I said, reality is a certain way. It's not good or bad. It's not "should be". It is.
And if you can't work from a position of what reality **is** to begin with, you can't reach your goal. It would be like saying "there should be a bridge over the chasm here, so I'll go walk here". You just wind up falling.

@ZDL@mstdn.social I know, but that's the issue I tried to get into: We now have a successful open source movement, which got successful by seeing reality and adapting its messaging to that. It's been so successful, it has become part of the problem.
