What I see is not tech independence, what I see is an unhealthy number of poorly baked solution getting tied to state money. While having more services and services of European origin is a great good, I am 100% sure the current push is not. I've watched these everything-goes-digital for the past decade, and without a proper market it won't fly. Icing this with pan-European nationalism (we the EU, the noble people) won't help. No expectations.
