Called my hospital about Mondays cardiology apt, I needed to send my Dr the clinical summary. The receptionist asked if I was the patient and for my date of birth and name etc, then asked AGAIN if I was the patient… i confirmed. She asked why I called, followed by: “Are you the patient?”. I confirmed AGAIN. Then, she said: “I don’t mean to be rude, but is the ‘Ms’ title on your file correct?”. I confirmed. If you’re not being hate crimed you’re treated as a fraud 🙄 #trans
