@robert_cassidy@urbanists.social Definitely not the first ebike fatality. I've been a road cyclist for 20 yrs, and I'm furious about the number of cycling deaths caused by cars. A few legitimate accidents but many more because drivers hate cyclists and don't care about their safety. Last night on the news (again!) a 74 yr old man purposely ran through a group of cyclists who were riding according to the rules of the road. They all lived, but one is damaged for life with many broken bones.
