@JacquelineJannotta@me.dm The doctor warned me that rebounding is more likely with paxlovid, especially since I was on day 3 of symptoms when I got it (that's when I tested positive). I'm not sure about there not being enough for everyone - they don't prescribe it to that many people. It was a 5-day dose when I got it back in January and even then it was advertised as a way to reduce the risk of winding up in the hospital, not a direct treatment. It worked really well for me though, both times. I've had my two negative tests 48 hours apart and I still feel good, but I'm going to continue taking it easy the rest of the week.

@awkwardlefty_cj@eldritch.cafe glad you’re doing better! I recently saw something about how current strains may take 4 days after symptoms start to show up on a RT. Very tricky when one is supposed to start paxlovid within first 5 days. Seems like navigating #Covid19 is an ever changing challenge!
