@LeviKornelsen@dice.camp Trouble with the "precise fill" setting on our washer is, it locks the damn lid so I can't use the pouring water to rinse the soap cup. I hate machines that try to nanny me. They're so unnecessarily expensive, and fiddly-- my father went through all kind of shenanigans trying to repair their washer, the bit that broke was plastic and is no longer manufactured, can't we just go with a standard/modular format for a lot of these parts? And why not rig it so you can run it with pedal power when the electricity goes out, or just for exercise? During the bad fires this whole city was down for a week-- those times will be getting more common.
