Last night's Town Hall meeting was attended by hundreds. The company behind the cable landing station, (first step to data center build out,) was met with stiff opposition. At times the public comments/questions were so angry I almost felt sorry for the company representatives. Until I remembered they've bought the land for $1.6 mil. Folks around here are fiercely protective of our fragile seashore ecology. They weren't buying any corporate promises. We'll see what happens next. #Today
