I was given a new coffee drip machine for a birthday. It makes great coffee. Huzzah! It's internet connected. With very old firmware out of the box. The app took several tries and a hard reset of the machine to connect to their servers via wifi. But you just have to wait for the firmware update. Gah! Why can't I just click a button on the app, download it and install it? Why does IoT universally suck?
