I have this sneaking suspicion that Starmer has by accident, played a blinder. The party and challengers are so useless that we'll look back at Conference in the autumn and Starmer will still be there. While all his challengers will have fallen in disgrace to the backbenches. Is that good or bad for the country? I have no idea.
