@tokyo_0@mas.to Sadly there are forces in the FOSS universe (primarily GNOME related) who have also been infected with the same mindset.
Stick with IceWM and you should be OK as regards scrollbars. Maybe also LXQt.
The fixes for the XFCE desktop are quite simple and work.

You know, the spot that traditionally holds the place for cancelation UI elements (close window). – ¹: upper right for left-to-right reading languages upper left for right-to-left reading languages.
