@rail_@bark.lgbt Well I was supposed to be a joke about the sad state of our railways, but I've now remembered that at that time the infrastructure was(n't that bad)… Also you're going to be the bane of me, as you tempt me to re-dig my railway interests ;p

@dzwiedziu@mastodon.social i mean polish infrastructure is an *eeeeeh* topic and railway transportation in poland as a whole because it's not that bad and also pretty bad at the same time depending how you look at it high-speed rail is a complete joke, 200km/h max on some sections of LK4 and LK9, with some sections of LK4 (CMK) being upgraded to 250km/h – wow finally, 10 years after we got trains capable of running 250km/h on the other hand, regular speed lines are *mostly* fine, well maintained, etc. level of electrification is really good compared to maaaaany other places, even regional lines are often electrified implementation of ETCS is also slow but we're getting there, or at least trying unlike some *ekhem ekhem Germany ekhem* places
