@andrew@esq.social I'm more concerned with not putting them in positions of trust. Particularly armed positions, but really any position where they have the well-being of others in their hands.
Also, they're having trouble recruiting already. Completely turn off the spigot. The smaller their numbers, the smaller their operations have to be.
They already operate from the position of privileged grievance. That's not going to change.

@D_J_Nathanson@esq.social Yeah you raise a good point, even just the threat of actual (if only economic/convenience) ramifications *right now* could make a meaningful difference in recruiting.
