Bill C22 is as bad if not worse than it's predecessor attempt C-2, and the earlier implemented C-18 which had the exact opposite effect on Canadian online media presence than everyone (well, everyone but us already-federated folk) thought.
Consider that Signal Messenger has indicated it will withdraw access from us rather than compromise privacy. it's bad.

Got the usual, quick, party-line zero-effort response from my MP. However it was long on procedural details and filling in that we still have time to really agitate on this - so keep up the writing/signing/petitioning, to your MPs, the PMO, the ministers, etc. Gads legislators really need futurists and systems consultants. They really think these things are well tuned to a single purpose and will only let the "good guys" to The Right Things. thanks-i-hate-it-all ...
