I just finished massively overhauling the battle UI for Fire Emblem Gaiden into something simpler. Why did I do this, you might be wondering… To save free space, of course! As it turns out, the part of Gaiden’s UI which handles the battle UI is stored alongside the font, so to expand the font one must cannibalize other elements of the UI, such as the Nintendo logo, the “Fin” that displays at the end of the game and, of course, the battle HUD. Those empty tiles on which is written stuff like “C7”, “C8” and others are the ones I’ve created by overhauling the UI. Neat, huh?
Also, I feel like I might finally get around to making a schedule for which I can work on my projects. This schedule will take effect tomorrow (April 6) and is as follows:
Monday, Tuesday: Fire Emblem 2
Wednesday, Thursday: Super Robot Wars 2
Friday, Saturday: Final Fantasy 2
Sunday: Any project I want (or even a day off)
