Not focusing on culture wars would mean having to talk about wealth inequality, quality of life, low salaries, high housing prices and so on, which wouldn't please the Owner Class who amongst other things also own the party.

The only party running on culture wars are the Republicans. By going around fear mongering over shit the Democrats essentially never bring up.

the democrats are already trying to piss off the coalition they built to pass redistricting in virginia. it's pretty clear to me at this point in my life that the democrats are the cuck chair party. they don't want the republicans to stop fucking america, and they don't really want to join in. they just want to watch from as close as possible
