@erikcats I've played with a couple blind wargamers at this point. Both of them cognitively sharp, just... old age took their eyesight, and no amount of surgery, glasses, lamps, or magnifying glasses could allow them to visually interpret a board anymore. But as long as everyone at the table described their actions aloud, and with someone to do the moving for them, they could hold a mental model of the table and play just fine. Both naval wargamers mostly, which makes sense - little terrain.
