@hiphopheaven@mastodon.social @amirbkhan@mastodon.social Again, the movement and lobbying for a Jewish state in Palestine occurred by evangelicals prior to Herzl's call and congress

  • @steff@soc.femme.cat @amirbkhan@mastodon.social i never denied christians zionists support for the illigitmate state of israel and their impact till today. Still herzl was jewish, the terrorist groups like lehi and haganah was jewish, the biggest donors to those groups was Jewish. Israel's first president was one of those who pushed the belfour declaration. Herzl and other jewish zionists was not fooled by christians zionists. They collaborated to serve each others own motivations.

@steff@soc.femme.cat @amirbkhan@mastodon.social @hiphopheaven@mastodon.social The Jewish desire to return from exile is almost timeless. The (re)establishment of a Jewish homeland has always been a cherished Jewish project dating back to the Roman-Jewish wars. The "L'Shana Haba'ah", is a 12th century prayer "for an end to exile and return to the Land of Israel". Sects of christianity in the Modern era may have supported the same (for different reasons) but to say their influence exceeded that of the Jews themselves is without evidence.
