@steff@soc.femme.cat @amirbkhan@mastodon.social @hiphopheaven@mastodon.social The Jewish desire to return from exile is almost timeless. The (re)establishment of a Jewish homeland has always been a cherished Jewish project dating back to the Roman-Jewish wars. The "L'Shana Haba'ah", is a 12th century prayer "for an end to exile and return to the Land of Israel". Sects of christianity in the Modern era may have supported the same (for different reasons) but to say their influence exceeded that of the Jews themselves is without evidence.

Do the European Zionists who ethnically cleansed Palestinians from the land have any connection to the Israelites? European Zionists should have come as normal people planning to be part of the community, not as colonizers, like the Yemenite Jews did. https://emekshaveh.org/en/yemenites/
