How reliable are those cheap chip testers at picking out LS vs HC - does anyone know? It seems to reliably say the same thing in repeated tests, but I regularly get cheap marked LSs coming up as HCs, and vs versa. But is there any economic sense in remarking to the wrong thing? Surely both are still in demand? I'm now pondering how to test them myself...
