Yet a surgeon will always use a scalpel. Making this arguments an age thing is dismissive. You want the best design for the tool you need / like, not the most common design for the most common tool.

@giuseppe@mastodon.social I don't think age is the point; people get left behind for all kinds of reasons. There is constant turnover. The Mac may be many things, to many people, but it's certainly no scalpel, nor is it the best designed tool for every task it performs
