I didn't understand it quite right — this is how you do it. On the plot is the real color subcarrier I put through this thing, with its Q counterpart (in green) and its envelope (in red).
(probably the first time I actually had to work with complex numbers outside of university math classes)

What a nice way of demonstrating the use of a C API by writing your example in Swift where 90% of the code ends up being the incredibly tedious unsafe memory stuff. But it has to be Swift. Because that's Apple and C doesn't exist at Apple any more.
