@olivvybee@anarres.family yeah, it’s a fucking nightmare. And here in the U.S. they’re working on passing the same type of bill. It’s not about porn. It’s about control and surveillance. And destroying the one place that’s a level playing field for communication and journalism that doesn’t require backing by billionaires.

Demand free as in freedom firmwares from AMD and Intel at least for their GPU's, their CPU microcodes can go f_ck themselves. Intel integrated video cards can work without closed software running in the card, but AMD Radeon cards don''t work with that tiny software which can't be neither modified nor audited.

@olivvybee@anarres.family OMFG. I am now realizing your intention with this post. I didn’t read your terminal window in its entirety. I saw “age verification” and “UK” and thought it was, well, you know. Now I see that it says your OS is asking for age verification. 😂 This was a great joke that went over my head. That’s where haste gets me. 😅
