From my experience, women are very astute at detecting underlying emotions and are also attracted to confidence (obviously generalizations).
This being the case, it's quite likely that a fear of rejection will lead to more rejection.
Rejection is certainly part of the process and a neccessary one in finding a fit.
It isn't easy, and sometimes really hurts, but it doesn't kill and doesn't have to crush ones confidence(or ego). Not every lid fits every pot so try another lid.

@realcaseyrollins@noauthority.social And sometimes, rejection isn't actually rejection, but more of a test. My first wife rejected me initially.
