Dating apps are rarely truly free and track a lot of shit. Been thinking about setting up a good old fashioned phpbb forum for #queer and #neurodivergent #dating in the UK. I've experience with this from back in the day as I created and ran a number of very popular online forums including parenting, pagan, and Lost fan forums. Could be an interesting project at the very least. We need more old school ways of making connections that are data tracking free, moderated, free to use, not reliant on phone app shiz, and completely AI free! It wouldn't be fancy algorithm matches and swiping, just people chatting and making connections. Sounds good right?
