If you work in tech and you're scared about your job potentially being taken by AI, join a union. I don't care what you think of unions, if you don't get together with others whom are affected and put pressure on your employers to treat you correctly, they will get away with it. A union is an incredible way to do that. The more people are in unions, the less power employers have over you, and the less viable union-busting becomes.

@alexia@shrimp.starlightnet.work I'd support only an union opposed to the existence of my job, but otherwise yes. With practical issues I'd have to find solutions for. Every time I reviewed any contract (which probably no one else had ever read), I felt it's such a waste of time as a union could negotiate/fix these for all.
