@bflipp@vmst.io just seeing your timeline, and the thoughts about branding - there's a business opportunity there.
What if you've reached out to a half dozen brands that are pumping their Mastodon presences on to random volunteer run instances, and pitch either the idea of hosting of us bespoke one for them (as a service? as an actual employee?) or, better yet, developed a domain like brands.social where you could do a SaaS thing where the whole business model is selling verification and support?

@mrzaius@hachyderm.io I have considered something like this off and on and in the past I have ran private cloud infrastructure on contract (I have my own company already) but it burned me out. It did not pay enough that I could quit my day job and it stole all my free time.
