Nah it's fine. I'm kinda exagerating this because german can be such a cringe language. Idk, if you ever come across german speaking porn you know what I mean.
Kiddo is just speaking english with both his parents becasue my ex didn't speak fluent german when we got together and it stuck as the "at home" language.
Though I have to say, a german accent in english is kinda hot.

@ranja@mastodon.art I have not seen that kind of porn, no, and would likely be disinterested. I have to admit a bit of projection. I probably have an inappropriately parasocial relationship with Germany. My mothers family is German-American, though generations removed. When I went there , it felt oddly like a sense of coming home. So the language to me feels like a warm hearth, rather than some of the alternatives. And German-inflected English is, I agree, pretty hot as well.
