@FinalGirl@blackqueer.life I have never seen someone look at the problem that American education is geared around metrics, certification, and profit incentives and decided the problem is we should get rid of education. That whole article was honestly horrific to read.

@FinalGirl@blackqueer.life (also, the number of professors that don't seem to grasp college has become a road block to survival and is treated as such in a capitalist economy. It's always kinda frustrating when professors don't realize kids are having this idea that "you need a degree" beaten into their head. I didn't go to college for passionate study because I was pressured to consider a career. Otherwise I would have been an art major and not a mentally unstable CS major :stacky_oof:)
