But truly, this is not just a problem of liars, but also of oligarch-owned media bothsidesing and overton-shifting everything to achieve maximal narrative tension. Because "The right wingers are always wrong" makes for a loss of narrative dynamism. So they even the playing field, as a twofer: 1) Their owners also own the right wing. 2) Dynamic narrative sells copy. Outrage sells copy. Lies sell copy.

@ChrisMayLA6@zirk.us @sjwrenlewis@econtwitter.net Or conversely, if they are continuosly saying we can't have cake, there is no cake, but maybe there will be cake if we don't have cake now it's hard to convey the message that there's plenty of cake. This applies to tax, immigration etc etc.
