@moshimotsu@floss.social any tips on discovering these discussions? I’ve had people suggest that I follow hashtags of my interests. But given how small the fediverse is currently, many are ghost towns. I’d rather go where the most active conversations already are.

@Zoonpolitikon@theforkiverse.com Some Mastodon clients, such as Ice Cubes (what I’m using now), support local feeds from other servers. For example, I can look at the local feed from mastodon.cr (the Costa Rican Mastodon instance) and can immediately boost and like content on it, without having to re-login or make an account over there. Additionally, hashtags DO work, but you have to follow other servers first. 1/2
