Somehow I feel in the conversations about working hours and other hours we don't bring up the culture of "extra curricular" outings. Whether it be for a meal or a day or a stretched weekend.
Some of us have been used to going for outings governed by elders since school and I realise we still follow the same etiquette and decorum with management when in reality it's just a suffocating wasted number of hours where doing anything else at all without the microscope judgement of management is much

more relaxing than what the outing was meant to be. Yes small teams were an exception. Years back there was space for people to be nice enough to each other or maybe it was just complacency on my part being snug in my comfort zone. But if I could have not gone for so many outings and stood my ground, I would have loved it much more #rant
