@shimminbeg@masto.ai a lab: maybe 15' x 15', cabinets on one wall, counters underneath them, with a built in sink, in one corner is a large piece of apparatus (could be a vacuum chamber, could be a table-sized shaker, could be a laser setup). In an opposite corner are two desks, back to back, with desktop computers on them. A printer would be next to one of them. Would be sprinklers mounted on the ceiling.
Is this the sort of thing you're looking for?

@quadrivial@beige.party Thanks, that's a useful description for a lab! A big question mark is the less glamorous rooms that don't show up on department websites. - There are going to be storage rooms: what's in those, besides printer paper? - Where are the power and ventilation controls? - Is there going to be a room with maintenance supplies? A storage area for liquid nitrogen, or acids for making circuits? A departmental server room? A shrine to Anubis?
