Tl;dr on @activitypods@fosstodon.org v Solid?
I implemented a simple Solid server in the browser so know the latter fairly well. Was hoping to build on that some day in my dweb project but maybe I should consider activity pods?

@happyborg@fosstodon.org @activitypods@fosstodon.org I haven't extensively tried it myself, but AFAIK it's just a Solid server with some extra capabilities. Except that it doesn't support all of Solid yet, but that's being worked on: https://activitypods.org/our-roadmap-for-2025#solid-compatibility
