@pmonks@sfba.social One dollar spent on the public welfare out of a billion taxed would still be more money than your average billionaire contributes to society. Infinitely more, as a billionaire is in and of themselves a detrimental force and a net loss. The only thing a billionaire contributes to society is a kind of entertainment born of how useless they are, and there are cheaper and healthier alternatives to binging 'what has Elon said today'.
