I try to play bass. I’m sure any real bassist would be laughing hysterically at me trying to play bass like it was a guitar. 😂
I purchased a Fender Jazz bass in 2022 that I’ll be keeping. The Ibanez was just a bit too harsh sounding to me, probably well suited for metal, but not for what I’ve been doing. The Fender is much more versatile.
You’re going to love the bass line in Be My Girl. It was insane playing at 135bpm. 😱

@GuitarSith@fosstodon.org @ambergrey@mastodon.social I'm sure you're fine on bass. At least you understand how much they differ. I occasionally play guitar as well and I fear how actual guitarists might perceive that.
