I&#39;ve been slowly tinkering with The Mavis Grind project. Uncharacteristically, perhaps, I&#39;m not sharing anything at the moment, but having fun searching for sounds and ideas. I&#39;ve got a few (extremely) rough tracks recorded, and I think I&#39;m finding the sound I want. I&#39;m also having fun forcing myself to write with the bass - I&#39;m a bass player but that is not how I traditionally write songs. Fun times!

My partner in crime was taking our grandkidling home on the bus and they noticed someone riding down the hill on a skateboard and juggling at the same time. As you do. They went along with the bus for a while and now I have two jobs. Teach the GK juggling, and then skateboarding - not sure they&#39;re ready for the skateboard just yet. Also, shout out to everyone riding skateboards around and juggling. Your an inspiration to 4 year olds everywhere. 😜

It&#39;s international women&#39;s day &amp; I was thinking about posting some women musicians that were important for me. To start it off, it has to be Suzy Quatro. As an example of my self-promotion skills, I decided to rerelease some old music on a Sunday night. Maybe time to boost that a little.
